Hey all,
I'm new to the Polycount community, but I'm a long time fan of the site's forums.
I'm David and I'm a technical artist over at Pixar. I'm here kicking off a new personal project that I'm starting on. I'm working on a fantasy genre short film that I'm creating in UDK (or potentially SFM) and I'm currently IP on a number of assets. I'll be posting some of those assets here as sort of a sketchbook as they're developed. I'd love any feedback or tips based on your experiences, as you'll certainly have more experience with game style artwork than me. Thanks for checking it out!
1/16 Update:
Character, Isaac (WIP)
Attached are iterations of the design sculpt and retopology of this character. He's meant to be the most balanced in the short, so I tried to give him quite a bit of appeal, without being too overbearing in any one attribute.
1/16 Another Update:
Character, Creature (WIP)
Thanks for taking a look!

The short currently calls for a smaller, less threatening creature to manage his way through some of the protagonist's goods. This yet-to-be-named creature is a lost soul, a miner, and a wanderer. His large hands are used to claw directly into hard surfaces for whatever treasures he can find. The design sculpt for this character was done entirely in ZBrush with retopology in Topogun and rough render/pose testing in Maya's Viewport 2.0.
