Hey polycount!
For a while im working on a out door environment.
i started to work on the textures for the terrain now i runned into a problem
i'm following this tutorial thats founded in the wiki.

It seems like Maya transfer map ignores alphas... is there any way to fix this or any other way to render this?
i hope somebody can help me..

This thread may help you, still talks about Max, but I have applied the same principles to Maya.

I wish Maya's RTT had raytracing, or whatever it needs to use alpha maps for occlusion and normal maps, and I even posted a suggestion on the Maya feedback website, which didn't get many votes.
