Latest Image - Hair Look Development



I guess this is my thread for the contest. Nothing to show for at the moment. I've been going through the Mixamo motion library and I think my creation will either be a female human or some kind of alien monster.

I'm not a great sketcher but I'm ok at modelling and working with Houdini. So I will probably find the motions I like, and then model the base character, sketch the different styles of clothing then it will be applying my animations and then finally the texturing and rendering.

Goodluck all, I guess I have some catching up to do.

Ok ive have gave it alot of thought and i was thinking a punk girl, wearing a kilt, sporan the whole works. Could have dreadlocks or maybe a mohawk, or even skinhead.

Might be elements of steam/cyberpunk but we will see.

Next update is a start on the model. See ya then.

So i guess being a little bit behind i am still at the base model stage. But it work be long before i start working on the cloth, then its retopology time.

So here it is right now. I will be recording as much as i can so other people viewing can enjoy the progress of this entry.

So ive been working on this some more and still not 100% on clothes. But im sure on tthe style.

Been working on some Hair development. Its gonna have a mix of natural and dreadlocks.



All still early stuff but this proof-of-concept has convinced me im not headed down a dead end.
