Hey guys, here is a mini environment I am in the middle of working on that I plan to add to my portfolio. The name isn't final yet as I still have a lot of choices to think about.
Forgot to mention that most of my texturing workflow will consist mainly of nDo2.
Not exactly sure where to go with the scene eg. abandoned, zombie apocalypse, nuclear fallout?
Here's a handful of references:
Some WIP shots:
Looking for as much feedback as possible with everything.
Thanks!

In your second wip shot, there's something strange going on with your normal/spec combo on that damaged spot. Im thinking that area need a little more polys as your texture work seems to show great surface damage/deeper hole, but i would guess your topology is just flat at that point?
Some of the bricks on the walls seem broken/extruded at some point, which is great but it ends up looking strange when the corner pillars are all flat/smoothed out.
I would make that silhouette more interesting. Bend some of the iron bars on the windows, bring some assymetry to the entire building.
Thanks for the thorough critique, Autarkis. I appreciate you taking the time to dissect it a bit.
I have added in some geometry where the damaged bits are on the arch walls giving it some depth. Also went in and added geometry on the corner pillars to help with the silhouette.
I bent the window bars a bit as well as added in some wooden planks to the windows. Not exactly sure how I feel about the planks atm.
Added in some additional lighting to the neon sign and the florescent wall lights.
Been thinking about adding in some type of scaffolding to the scene as well. I Plan on doing another texture pass tomorrow to take care of the uniform weathering and such.
Critiques and comments are still welcome, thanks.
