Hey guys! A friend of mine and myself participated in F this Jam late last year,playable
here, we've since decide to try and make our prototype a fully featured game. Here is the art I've been working on over the last week.
First pass at a logo, probably will end up redoing it.
Machine gun base and fully upgraded.
Test fire effect.
WIP turret textures.
Turret mesh with attatchments.

I wish the crate wood was done up in the same style as the gun stocks, maybe not with as many swirls, but at least with more paint strokes.

I took a first pass at the wing textures and I wasn't very happy so I'm going to take another swing at them.
I'm not sure how much more progress I'll have this or next week, I'll be out at gdc next week. So if you're out there, I'm going to try and hit the polycount meet up.
Bird texture done, it's one size too big atm. Will scale down after I get all of the animations done.
Hey guys, GDC was awesome. Polycount meet up was great, had a ton of fun meeting a bunch of you out there.
I did manage to get some stuff done in my post gdc haze, I got some proto assets together so we can test out some game play and I put together the water mine that will float down the river and damage the player if he can't shoot them in time.
Here is all 3 versions, it will get bigger and tougher as the game progresses.
Small break down of the elements, this will allow us to turn stuff off and on for the different levels
Here is a final version of stage 2 in unity with some simple animations.
Wrapped up the fish enemy last night. Tonight I'm hoping to get him rigged an animated.
Once he's in game and ready to go I'm going to move on to getting the ship and the first gun textured.
We're getting pretty close to our first playable. I can't wait to share it with everyone.
Another small update, last week was pretty busy at work so not a whole lot of free time. This week It's all polish mode. We've got enough to start our first playable, so on to tweaking and polishing!
Started work on the second tileset, I'll be working on the props later this week. The base is textured, and I'm hoping the props add a lot.
