Greetings,
Unfortunately I cannot play Assassin's Creed III myself, since it would melt my laptop, but I am able to watch a lot of YouTube footage. I became quite fond of Boston and New York during the winter times, and decided to try and make something similar.
I've got to the point where I know I can do more to improve it, but I'm not sure where and I think I just need some fresh eyes and constructive criticism - since getting old rejection after rejection email is getting quite tiring (I guess finding a job now is difficult even with experience).
Anyway, here it is as of now:

Also any verdict on whether or not AC3 is worth buying is welcome as a side note.

The first thing that jumped out at me was the transition from debris to ground. Rite now it falls really flat, i think since this is a winter setting you could make use of some snow piling up around the edges to soften that transition.
try fancying up the tree's a bit. Even in the dead of winter there's usually a few small leaves attached to the branches, also the branches themselves could use some smaller offshoots to fill them in a bit
