Your about section was quite a pain to read. I suggest you add some coloured headings to split it into sections, and decrease the contrast. (White text on black background's pretty jarring. Maybe white headings and light-grey body text, or something along those lines?)
The images you put in there seem to be full sized images that are then resized in the page to fit your fixed-width layout. That can be fine, although it was kind of annoying having to leave the page to be able to see them at full size.
