That looks really nice Greenmutze, great job! One thing that stands out is that there is quite a bit of empty space on the texture. I'm guessing you don't want to edit this piece but if you moved the small square to the top left of the texture you would have some decent space to add more.

For something like this I think you'd want to make a tiling texture and base it around a specific kind of mesh.
