Ran another small pass over the shoulders and started digging into the head. Got really jammed up on the eye sockets, need to find some good ref and study up on the musculature/structure of eye sockets.
by the looks of it his upper body is a little too big. Perhaps scaling the legs up a bit would make him a little more proportional? That and you could make the outside of his pectorals a little less boxy. If you sculpt it so the outside of the pecs angle a little bit more into the shoulder it may look nicer and also will look better if you ever animate this guy. looking good though keep it going : )
hey dude, it looks like you're on the right track with the anatomical studies. I'm not sure if it's the angle of the image, but it looks like the eye socket is slightly too square, especially towards the nasal bone. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback! I was just touching it up a little after dropping that most recent post and I think you are right. I rounded it out a bit just eyeing it, but tomorrow I'm going to take another pass over the whole thing with reference close at hand:

Very interesting style! How did you do this?
For those I used a tool called ScribblerToo. You can find it here: http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/scribblertoo/
I think it's pretty great for just scribbling around and finding shapes and ideas.
