Ive been working on this for a little over a week. I really love the art style and really liked this concept. This is what I have so far. Below is the diablo concept. Not mine.. this is in the unreal 3 engine.
That looks nice but could use some more interesting lighting and shadows look like there are none.Scale of the textures dont match the scale of models.
I think you are missing a lot of the colors and contrast from the concept in the scene at the moment. The roof has oranges and reds in it, the ground has browns and yellows, the siding is a lot brighter with some yellows in it. Your scene at the moment is only brown and green, with the exception of your yellow candle in the window. I also think the lighting is causing issues with the colors as well, because it kind of looks some real simple global illumination setup.
Thanks for the comments. Ill go and add some color to the roof tile texture. Hey Ivanzu, on the scaling which models do it look off on so I can go back and adjust some uvs?
