Long answer: It's hard to learn to sculpt female/male from a tutorial when it can take a life to learn proper anatomy...
Even longer answer (but doesn't look like it): You need to learn anatomy to be able to sculpt bodies properly, no shortcut, sorry. Contrary to many other tutorial teaching you "technic" sculpting body is all about understanding how things are made, not an "automatic" unfaillible technic.
Learn parts of anatomy at a time don't explode your brain by trying to learn the entire body at once (form is different how ever) but i guess the way i would go about it would be to learn basic form then break it down to like torso, back, arms, legs, that sort of thing. My 2 cents
