amazing! may have this as my wallpaper :P hope you don't mind!, id love to see the shader tree for this bad boy, and for the object in the background all looks amazing, great work (y)!
OK, the body and armour are quite good. Not the best I've ever seen, but still damned good and would look great in Mass Effect 3/4, possibly win your challenge too... but that face tops it all!
DAYUM, that face is positively awesome for an ingame character! One of the best I've ever seen and straight to the inspiration folder. Well done
really nice work on the face model, textures and shader.
only thing that bothers me are the legs mainly and the mech suit in general.
the design of the legs armor could have used more attention i think. right now the shapes dont look too appealing and almost feels like prosthetic legs.
also, i see a lot of wobbly/wavyness on the armor. the wavyness is usually a symptom of sculpted hardsurface but i am not sure what you did here since i dont see any highpoly renders. also i see a lot of bake errors on you grey shaded model, might wanna triangulate your bake mesh and keep that triangulation or use smoothing groups and follow EQ's hard edge method even.
man, after seeing this makes me convinced I need to start using udk to render my shit. Fantastic! Really hope you take the time to explain some of this, myself and the community could really learn a lot from you!
Thanks guys I'm at the finaly polish stage as the contest end this week, After this I will do a detailed breakdown, Thanks again , here is some new shots and one PNG
his skin looks amazing, i'd love to see your maps and material set up to see how you sccomplished it.
my main crit is his pose is very awkward and stiff, especially the way his right hand is just held awkwardly by his side, with his thumb out like a lego man

I would have to agree with Mr Ace.
That hand really needs sorting as that's the one thing bringing it down.
That arm also seems to be pulled back too much. the hand and the arms just don't look very natural.
Amazing work though and it's the best entry I've seen.
Pleaaaaaaase share some of your material and render settings with us :poly121:

Fantastic work, love the face, so realistic
a new shot
This has got to be the best in-game character I have seen on here, if it doesn't appear on the polycount banner it will be a travesty.

all that being said, good luck on the entry

I now want to play as this dude if I can't play as Commander Shepard. I think think guy would be even more beautiful if you gave him blue eyes.
