I have a seperate head on a character and 10 morph targets to the side. When I morph to any target the original head moves away from the body. They all have the pivot in the correct place and have re-xformed everything. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks but deleted all animation, still same problem. Can anyone provide a step by step on how to link existing morph targets to my original head morph without it screwing up?
IIRC, align the base head model to the body model. Set the head base model's pivot to match the body's pivot. Reset Xform on both body and head, and collapse their modifier stacks. Align all the morph targets to the head model, so they're all overlapping, align their pivots to the head base model's pivot, Reset Xform, collapse stacks. Load the targets in a new Morpher modifier.
This worked brilliantly, apart from collapsing the body as that results in losing my skin weights (reloading them doesn't work well) but I just didn't collapse body and this method still worked thanks!

reset xform
move xform modifier under skin
collapse to xform modifier
do this in bind pose with always deform disabled
