UNITY3D - Billboard Animation

Hello.

I've been up for a day now,attempting to figure out a workaround for billboard'd animated grass.I wanted to use Mega-Fiers,but that's not free,nor does it offer a trial so I dropped that Idea.

Then,I thought to just export as FBX to save the animation and bones.
Though,I am kind of off to the idea because I've seen people mention how
it can become a huge issue when loading a bunch on screen.I'm pretty confused and if anyone would be able to lend a solution to the problem,I'd be most grateful.Thank you.
