I've been work on a concept in Sculptris and as you can tell I'm far from done. However I need some advice on her anatomy. Shoulders and arm placement seem a bit off but I can't seem to get it right. Advice and paintovers would be a great help. Also if you see anything else that needs fixed before I move on with the detailing please feel free to mention it.
Thanks PC people.

BTW the inspiration behind this one came from looking at Bubblegum Crisis hardsuits and Crash from Q3A.

Originally the anatomy was pretty close but I think I got carried away with the move tool and armor building. I found an overlay that might help me a bit.
Areas that stand out as needing major help would be arm length, knee position, and neck length. Oh yeah, breast positioning, the armor seems way too high up on the chest/breasts.

    Hello!

A couple of things that came to my mind:

    - I feel the section where the upper arm connects to the shoulder is too narrow, the shoulderpads make the shoulders look like small balls that connect the arms to the torso.

    - I think the feet would look much better if you made them look like they are in contact with a ground (Toes and heels evenly on the same level like this http://webneel.com/sites/default/files/images/project/3d-character-model-design%20(24).jpg ). At the moment the feet look very flappy, which also makes the character look weightless. I think the calves seem a little uncomfortably twisted to the left and right below the knees too, though I am not sure if this is because of the camera angle/lens.

    - Considering the anatomy and the design in general, it might be very helpful for you to occasionally look at the pure black silhouette of the model to see how the shapes read.

    Keep going :)

    Thanks Nina

I'm working on the basic shoulder shape now, but it's still looking a bit like a ball joint :/
I'm still trying to get the feet so they look like they are flat on the ground, but my lack of scultping experience is getting in the way. I'll keep at it though, thanks for the advice and encouragement.

OK, I've tweaked a little bit, I'm adding a perspective and ortho shot so hopefully everything can be seen clearly. I hope this helps you see what's going on more clearly.
