Hello, Polycounters! For school I worked on a 30-day environment project on a team with two other students. The environment was supposed to be realistic and inspired by a videogame, so we decided to take inspiration from Uncharted 3's Cartagena, Columbia. Me and another teammate worked on the exterior environment while the third team member worked on an interior space of one of the buildings, which isn't shown in these shots. All assets, set dressing, and lighting were done by me and Melanie Morillo, and rendered real-time in UDK. We finished the project a couple months ago, but any crits would be awesome!
I plan to re-export the video to get a higher quality and make it less jumpy.
yeah good work, I think you could up the bounce lighting intesity in lightmass to get more of the uncharted feel and use post processing to tone down the saturation a little.
