Maya memory problem

Good morning,
A while ago i installed maya 2013, since some time my maya builds up strange amount of memory while loading a scene.
He says its on 100% loading but the screen stays white and my memory keeps building up to 9.5gb memory.
I tryed to search on it but without success
Is there anyone that can help me with this problem?

Is you Maya version up to date ? (There is a service pack 2 available for Maya 2013)
I remember having a memory leak like this when I was using Softimage, it was an issue with my GPU driver, you can maybe try an update of it too ?
