Normals in tight areas

Hi everyone, I sometimes run into problems when baking normals in tight areas such as crevices of V-shaped things etc. I use xNormal to bake my maps, and haven't found any clean fix or workaround, I've just been able to minimize the damage (since most of the time it's hard to see in the crevices). If anyone knows a solid fix it would be very helpful! Thank you!
