[MAYA] Change attribute values with an expression
I have an issue that's driving me crazy. I'm trying to add a bone rotation value to a joint orient value in the Joint section of the Attribute Editor, using the expression "+=n". n being the rotation value that needs to be added. But its not doing it. 
Its not letting me put + and = together, which is the entire point of the expression. It works in the channel box, but not in the Attribute editor.
This expression allows you to add, subtract, divide and multiply relative to the current number. So if my value is 5 and I want to add 8 to it, I would type in the field "+=8" and it would automatically add 5 and 8. That's just an example, I'm dealing with much more complex decimals. It's a really handy thing and I just cannot work out why it wont let me input it into the Joint section of the attribute editor.
Anyone have any ideas?
