Hi, There is something weird happening while im in shaded viewport. I think it might be something with my opacity map? Im using 3dsmax 2013. The only way i can explain it is by showing you.

That is it in Realistic, everything is okay. But then i switch to shaded

I must say the boat looks pretty good.
What do you mean by translated the wrong way?
I've tried to find the solution everywhere, but no one seems to have the answer. The only thing i know is when i turn off my opacity map it goes away, but i checked my opacity map, its pure white and pure black. In realistic it doesnt make a difference, its always fine.
One fix would be to use transparency only on the parts that absolutely need it, not on the whole model.
Another solution is to use a shader that combines alpha blend (soft transparency) and alpha test (hard transparency). The alpha test prevents the opaque areas from having any transparency at all.
