I think the choices for your portfolio are a bit weird.First pic is a ring on a rock, thats not exactly what you'd put in a portfolio imho.I like the chair, the table and extinguisher, they look like nice props and the shaders and light is great on them. The knife looks nicely shaded and while i don't see any problems from an art/tech point i don't know if it is the right choice for a portfolio.Think absolute best work in your area of expertise ( props and textures right ? ).The hammer is nice for your texture work side that you specified in title, i'd keep it.The rooms are awful from an art/tech point for a portfolio because of the nature of the style...those photosurced like walls (i'm sure you touched and made all of them) tend to remind of older games like half life and/or Arma which are way to boring for a portfolio imho, sugest looking into some nice zbrushed ruined stuff where you sculpt everything (look at that gears of war art for ex).I'd say you're alright, just need to do some more serious work for a good portfolio (cmon man noobs were making that silly lotr rings everywhere circa 2000).
@ Bertmac : i'll keep those in the blog for now, its really easy to showcase the images, when shit gets more serious i'll switch, but thanks for pointing it out!
