Hi,
Just got the art test. Started today. I have till one day before the christmas. any feedback is welcome!

This is the concept. Its a Female Norn I think.


This is progress of Day1:


I will model as much as possible in Maya then I put in Zbrush for sculpting.

I wanna see you take this as far as you can in Maya before you bring it to ZBrush.

Make sure you check your proportions on the chest area. Some of the curves do not match the concept. Also make sure you reference real armor not the concept alone. Looking good so far!

looking good so far! Did they send you a base and you only need to create the clothing/armor?

Only 1 small nitpick so far :P the metal ring on the lower armor is smaller and a different shape than the one in the concept. That said, yours looks a bit more realistic so if that's what you were going for then cool.

progress of day3... I definitely think the shoe need some rework:(,Will finish the glove /fur and the few left by stuff over the weekend.

did you get a base from them ? i think so, because the overal proportions look very different.
it would be easier to judge if you wouldn't hide the body

no it was one of my own female base. I definitely have to adjust the overall proportion once im in zbrush, for now I just wanna finish the basic geos fast and go on the next stage

day4 progress... Just realize I can actually use alpha on the model.. Will redo the fur as alpha planes.

nothing big is missing, but i wait with my crits till you begin to change the proportions

I would suggest to turn on perspective view when you´re in Zbrush (press P and see the difference).
