Battle Choppa

Today i wake up with a desire to model something. So I choose to model a tier 4 choppa from a concept by team for Warhammer online.

So i started with the base mesh to import in Zbrush. Took a look.

I been bad polycounter. i have not post for while. so update time.

so these final zbrush model.



I baked the maps using xnormals. I have started to textured the model. This is a quick max render below.



any comments or suggestions???

I'd make the rivets/nails more visible on both sides of the choppa.

Uranni: Thank you for the advise. I did painted the rivets so that they would stand out.

I also added the red paint elements from the concept. I still need to working on the support brackets on top so they match the concept. what do you polycounters think?

added some more detail like the rivets in on the blade and sharp blades/horns. I also import the model into UDK.

orcs from warhammer are very messy
alot of rusty used weapons with alot of scratches on them
i like your model but its alittle bit too "clean" for orcs from warhammer :P

Ducckz: You right, it looked too clean. I made the existing grim pop out and add more grim some places.

I also repainted the wood handle to match the blade. let know what you think?
