So wanna pass along some news as well as shamelessly promote the current project I'm working on. A Warhammer 40k title based on the popular board game Space Hulk.
Storm bolters, power fists, bulky suits of Terminator armour and a claustrophobic corridor full of Genestealers. Space Hulk is one of our classic games that's attracted a cult following over the years and many an evening has been spent by hobbyists pounding up and down cramped passageways blasting Genestealers into bloody chunks. Well there's good news on the horizon because computer games developer Full Control have started work on a new Space Hulk computer game.
You take command of a strike force of Blood Angels Terminators as they make their way through the close confines of the Space Hulk - Sin of Damnation. It's a turn-based game that emulates the look and feel of the board game, but with full 3D animation. Genestealers lurk menacingly while the Terminators use their action points, bolter rounds tear down corridors in overwatch cut-scenes and whole sections of corridor are set alight as the heavy flamer hoses them down. There's a lot of exciting features to this game, which will be coming out next year on PC, Mac and iOS. I'll be sure to post teaser pictures on White Dwarf Daily when I get them. Until then, make sure you check out the Space Hulk website to find out more about it. Now, seeing as Terminators and Genestealers are very much the theme for today, here are a few pictures of them that you've sent in.

The lack of references to THQ is interesting. I'm wondering if that means that they no longer hold the 40K IP, having sold it or had it taken away by GW. Doesn't bode terribly well for THQ if that's the case.
As for the game, the developer they've got on it does have some experience with turn based strategy games, but they've mostly reviewed pretty poorly. Coupled with the rather average visuals in the trailer, I'm not expecting anything particularly amazing from this game. Still, a faithful translation of the game could work, even if it isn't particularly pretty.
Can't comment on the THQ stuff but as for the visuals and gameplay , don't count us out on that regard. It's just an announcement trailer.
THQ only have the exclusive rights for Warhammer 40,000 as a game, rather than the universe. The rights for Warhammer Fantasy they don't have access to, nor do they specifically have the right for any of the spinoffs like Epic or Battlefleet Gothic.
It's a bit dubious mind, since whilst Space Hulk is a spinoff game, it's still very much set in the same universe. It's hard to say exactly how the rights are being arbitrated without seeing the paperwork itself...
I am interested to see what you chaps come up with. I could see myself getting a lot of mileage out of a good, multiplayer TBS Space Hulk game.
No need to tone down what you said, without honest feedback how can one get better? End result will be impressive i sincerely hope.
A little bit of shameless self promotion, first preview of the game myself and a few other Polycounters are working on. Space Hulk off course, preview includes some of the first in game screenshots.
Now don't screw it up. Copenhagen isn't too far away for me to get at you for ruining childhood memories

Pure speculation though.
Game's sounding pretty good, J0420. Looking forward to getting a more detailed discussion of the mechanics.
Other 40k campaigns such as that might be possible for us if the Space Hulk does well
