Hi, this is a Project for a university module on handheld games. The idea is to create an Optimized game environment for handheld devices based around the art style of Darksiders. Any critique on my scene any would be awesome. cheers.

    Hi Aston91,

    On the top image the shadow in the top corner of the room is way too dark, do you have Final Gather turned on?

    In the bottom image the silver floor is much brighter that the rest of the scene and as the only light sources are candles (that I can see) there would not be enough light in the environment to give it that kind of shine. The spikes should also have an emmisive map applied to them in order to make the red (I assume blood) areas show up better.

    Apart from that, the scene is looking good and I like the concept. I assume its for a mobile game?

    looking good so far I like the scene. maybe the chandelier on the celling could give off some more light as that area is pretty dark other than that the concept seems good.

    Not really seeing the Darksiders style in your work so far. There are no pentagrams in the game, only specific runes. There aren't a whole lot of perfect circles or straight lines in DS or DS2 and we focus on chunky proportions. Try exaggerating some of the shapes.
