When the Rift Art team set about making the Storm Legion expansion, the 2 words on our minds were bigger and better. It's not that we weren't proud of Rift, but the chance to improve upon what's gone before is one of the great things about working on a live game. This team listened to both the loyal Rift player base and MMO community at large; read the forums, reviews and absorbed what feedback they could. Subsequently the land mass tripled. So yes, 'bigger'. But also, the Art style evolved, the Art quality improved, the world design improved, the conceptual design of *everything* improved. Even the renderer did too. So yes also, 'better'. So much better in fact, that it's in many ways on the Art side an entirely new game, rather than an expansion. All of this in a fraction of the time it took to make the original game. A very talented and dedicated group of people came together to make Storm Legion. Theyre also more prone to injecting subliminal phalluses into the content than any group Ive ever worked with.

you're champs!
Great job to everyone there. One of the best and biggest art dumps I've seen.
Everything looks fantastic.
Awesome dump. Congrats all who worked on this.
As for the rest of my fellow artists at Trion, you really killed it (NO SERIOUSLY). Seeing all the badass environment art and concept art coming out from our team was truely inspiring and it kept me going while I was a part of the team.
Big ups to Hai for presenting my Characters so awesomely in Marmoset, you da man dog (AND YOUR STUFF LOOKS FUCKING AMAZING IN MARMO)
(edit) forgot @Sean VanGorder, you too bub
