New models not showing up

Hello

I tried making a line, and then a cylinder then a box and each time they actual model has not been showing up in viewport or the render. I already have models in the scene. I don't know what I did to make it this way. Help please?

First of all, what software are you using?

If you are using 3ds Max you may be drawing objects on a hidden layer.

3ds max. Makes sense. I tried unhiding all layers and wierdly enough they were showing on one of the hidden layers. Thank you!
