Hey there, I am making a model based on these two references on the right. This is what I have for the high poly model so far. I think I am going to add a few more spikes up top and make the little chain link look more like its broken. For the markings I was thinking of trying something like zbrush to sculpt that in, I haven't really done that before so I think it will be interesting to try.

I baked out a normal map and got a basic diffuse and spec map going on now, just need to keep working at it. Here is what it looks like currently.
