Texturing is not something I know a lot about. I have began tutorials but something I am missing is how to texture with pre-made textures or photos like the 3dsk content. I read some people even "mix" textures. Anyone have a tutorial in mind that can help me? Tips too would be appreciated.

And if you don't mind paying, then websites like Eat3D or 3DMotive have some great tutorials - such as "The Briefcase".
also why are you unwrapping a highPoly mesh?
Another Q : How do I render or export the UV's so that I can go to Photoshop with it?
Thanks for that links btw CordellC
So the workflow is this : Make a high poly for all the details then make a low poly which you will actually use for the game, and unwrap the low poly instead. So all the detail from the high poly is transformed, if you will, from polys to textures? Is that what "baking normals" means? I have seen that term many times here and places and I do not know what it is. Can't wait to find out
there is also addtianl maps you can bake too such as ambient occlusion and cavity.
hopefully someone with more time on there hands to point you in the next direction posts next for ya.
