Hi all,
I hear that you can create an emissive map in photoshop by painting it in, in the normal map alpha channel. Apparently in UDK, when you link the normal map to the corresponding material node, it should display an emissive texture as well as the normals on your object. I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but if anybody knows a good tutorial that explains the process, or can explain it themselves I'd appreciate it. I've looked everywhere and can't find one.

You could also multiply that alpha channel with your diffuse if you want some color in there, though your mileage will vary depending on how you've got your diffuse set up.
