So, I am trying to make a modular house in 3DS Max, but and I have tileable textures that tile perfectly in photoshop, but when I place the objects next to each other, or even weld the verts, the texture tiles, but there is a weird vertical seam. See here:
It looks even worse when put into the cryengine:
Is this a smoothing groups problem maybe? If so, how do I remedy that? Keep in mind that that seam was created because I took two of the wooden beam objects, placed them exactly side by side, attached the elements, and welded the vertices. Thanks!
