I've recently gotten back into 3d modeling and animation and I've found the need to update some of my skills.
It looks like these days models are built in your 3D package of choice, imported into zbrush or mudbox etc. sculpted and then normal maps are baked from the high poly zbrush version and applied as a texture to the low poly model.
Can anyone recomend some good books/tutorials? I'm still decent at building models in 3ds max but 'd like to learn zbrush and the process to bake the normal map.
Thanks

which is a basic overview of zbrush and sculpting / rendering techniques.
Also check out http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104752 since it's free and for memory has some zbrush stuff in it.
