To rephrase it, this is just awesome of THQ and also quite brilliant. Obviously they know their games aren't selling that well and are creating a bundle with great games, include Saints Row The Third if you buy above the average and hope people like the game and buys DLC (I don't know if any of the other games have DLC).

it's a fantastic bundle of games. but i'm now in a predicament:

do i give the majority of the money to THQ in the futile hope that they will stay open? or do i give it to charity?

That's depressing. I can't say I'm a fan of any of the games, but it's depressing that things are so bad any games company had to consider doing this.

Not in itself, but that the company feels it's in such a position that fire saleing products that were $60 AAA games in some cases just days over a year ago for under $0.75 each (less than that when you deduct the charity donation and humble tip) is a worthwhile thing, that feels sad.

I bought a couple bundles. Was really on the fence on buying Saints row during the steam sales because I wasn't sure I was even gonna play it. But with these deals I just can't not get it. Will be giving the other bundles away at some point, they make nice Christmas gifts.

Also, choosing for THQ is giving to charity, too, at this point. They could use all the help they can get.

Amazing how the stock price went from 1.3 to 1.49 (1.54 (spiked at this)) just thanks to the humble bundle, and at the moment the total payments is increasing with a 100 dollar each second.

I paid full retail for it and happily would again, possibly several times. It's easily one of my top 10 favorite games ever, and the only FPS besides Deus Ex and the Half Life series that I've replayed many, many times.

4A created a masterpiece and I desperately hope that Last Light is finished before THQ bites it...

EDIT: Bought it, gave all the money to THQ. I normally give 3/4 to charity/devs in the bundles anyway...

this is an awesome deal. I was weary about red faction when i saw they changed from a sandbox back to something more linear, but i gotta say its my favorite one so far. Just wish there were some people for online play

Titan Quest was fucking awesome when I played it. It's a pretty sweet Diablo-like but with a fixed map (with randomized enemies) and a pretty complex class hybridization system that can be min-maxed pretty hard or force you down some shitty paths (but you can respec) so it rewards planning.

I played through it and the expansion on all three difficulty levels with a friend and had a blast.
