3DS Max Weld Shortcut Woes
How do you set up a shortcut for the "Weld" command? I'm using max 2012 and editable poly.
First off, there are at least 3 weld actions in the shortcut list - I have tried all of these to no avail:
The problem is, while I assign the shortcut correctly (in this case ctrl-shift-w), whenever I select 2 vertices on a model and hit the shortcut it goes into "target weld" mode as shown here:
So just to clarify, I want to set a shortcut for the "Weld" button, but when I hit ctrl-shift-w I get "Target Weld". Of course I can just click "Weld" and it works fine, but I want a shortcut for it.
My other custom shortcuts all work. I've googled and searched on here for this problem, but can't find any answers - surely this is one of the most commonly used commands?
