Viewport 2.0 and Nvidia Graphics Cards.

Hi,

I currently have an Nvidia 675M which allows me to select which programs use the 675m and which uses the intel hd card that also comes with my laptop. The issue I currently have is this: everytime I turn on maya and the secondary window that opens with it tells me that when it turns on Viewport 2.0 it detects my intel hd card, and not the 675M. Does anybody how I can get Viewport 2.0 to make use of my 675M? I usually select the .exe in the Nvidia control panel but I don't know which file to select when it comes to Viewport 2.0...

any suggestions?

I don't know about integrated graphics but usually theres a toggle to turn it off in the bios options, when your booting up press whichever button it prompts you usually delete or f8 and take a look around for bios for anything that says graphics or gpu or integrated graphics or somesuch and turn that off.

turning it off permanently is something i probably wouldn't want to do cause it is nice to have this feature. the last laptop i had was such a pain in the ass due to the dedicated graphics card that couldn't be shut off. thanks for the suggestion though :)

i guess if anyone knows what vp 2.0 is called while it's running...
is it an .exe? or .. something else? that way i can hopefully try to find it within my nvidia control panel and set it up so that when it runs it uses the dedicated card...
