Decided to try and do a likeness sculpt again, slowly starting to see the likeness myself, so I hope people on here can guess who he's supposed to be. (actor)
Also have this to finish up from the CGWorkshops : Hard Surface Character Modelling course with Josh Herman :
First time trying to model a hard surface character,, can really recommend the course if you were considering taking it!

You should model the full suit. Some crit on the arms. They're quite cluttered with shapes around the elbow joint which looks like they would hinder movement.
For a next project I'll keep it in mind!
Enrolled in the Scott Eaton Anatomy for the Artist course a while back and am finally getting around to working on that.
Working on the chest and abdomen right now, so will probably do a couple of these ecorche drawings over the next few days before moving on to the next part (shoulders / upper- and lowerback)
Just need to work on arms as they are bit imbalance except that i find it impressive
Here are some of my studies for today, need to do a couple from the side, but really learning alot from doing these.
It's something I wanted to for a long time, and never thought I was up for but after finishing that Hard Surface course i definitely want to try and do the whole thing.
Very rough sketch, just trying to get the forms in there, so I can retopo it.
Far from done.
Started retopo-ing the cowl, practicing some hardsurface stuff.
Not going as fast as I want, have been out of the 3d game abit lately.
Wanted to see how following the lectures and doing the excersises had helped improve my anatomy knowledge so far.
Pretty happy with how this came out, especially with the back as that was mostly freestyling in my previous sculpts.
Based on Michael C Hall from the Showtime series "Dexter"
Smart idea with mapping out the muscles on photographs.
Having some fun with those render settings.
And yea AimBiZ I think so, didn't make them myself, its the Fake it pack made by Mike Nash (http://mikeanashtuts.blogspot.com/p/fake-it-scene-pack.html)
Started this way to long ago, and want to finally go agead and finish it
Next up retopo
Started Scott Eaton's Portraiture & Facial anatoy course. (http://www.scott-eaton.com/portraiture-facial-anatomy-online-course)
A couple of weeks in, and really enjoying it, learning a ton, definitely recommended!
Wanted to see if it improved my facial sculpting skill so far.
So this started as a skull and took it a bit further when we finished the section on facial fat last week.
Done completely in Zbrush from a sphere.
A goblin I made in Zbrush created from some concept I found a while back, unfortunately don't know who created it.
Made entirely in Zbrush from a sphere, as some anatomy practice.
Rendered in Zbrush and compositing (and some very slight post work) in Photoshop
Trying to get a likeness (again), hair is place holder.
Todays work :
