Weird bake results

I'm working on an axe and I'm having some weird bake issues.
I'm baking with xnormal(with cage) and using NDO2 to get AO+ cavity.

Split edge where the UVs are split:

And when I try baking with max I get random dots.

Did I mess up the smoothing groups, or lay out my UVs improperly?

I really don't know why it's doing this, help would be appreciated! :(
