I recently spent a few weeks creating assets for a turn-by-turn physics-based iOS smash-em-up that was just released today, so I can post up all the fun stuff I got to work on!
Danglesmash pits you as a Soviet space dog fighting back an alien invasion at the dawn of the space race!
I handled a lot of the initial visual design, models, textures, logos, icons, promo work as well as the audio - the programmer (who made this all in his bedroom and completely out of his own savings for the past few months) also did all the animation, as well as effects, lighting and obviously the game design and technical progammery stuff itself!
If you want to check the game out on iTunes clicketh ye here:

Character assets ranged from 200 - 400 tris, 512 textures all round. BG's were polygons hue shifting live with vertex colours and the planets weigh in between 500 and 3000 tris.
