Buying traditional art and prints

I'm starting to look into buying some art or prints for my apartment and I having a hard time figuring out where to start looking.


Does anyone have advise about looking for and buying local art?
-Is it best to just go to multiple galleries and find a piece you like or should you look for an artist you like and try to look over their available pieces?
-Is it okay to haggle or do you just go by the sticker price?

Is there any suggestions on places to buy prints online?
Does anyone on polycount sell prints or paintings?

Also feel free to post stuff that you have purchased and details about it.

I either do my own stuff or find Artists that I like and figure out which galleries carry their work. Two places that I went to when I lived in LA and go online now are:

and

http://www.gallerynucleus.com/ (actually started by an Environment Artist I believe)

I just keep my ears open as I cruise the net, I found originals being sold and got almost all of them.

If not there, just online reproduction from known places.
