I know I'm a little late for the TF2 party but I have been working on making assets to develop my skills and maybe start getting some stuff together for a portfolio. I have already submitted a hat to the workshop but the itemtest basically does all the technical stuff for you.
I have attempted to follow a similar technique with a weapon, I skin it to the weapon_bone but I think I need to link the bone to a .bip but I am unsure how. I think that it involves editing the .qc file, but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that nor how to recompile.
Could anyone give me a hand or point me in the right direction please?
