Over the past few days i have been working on a new enviroment.
This enviroment will be rendered inside the Unity 3D game engine.
Work in Progress:
#1:
Rendered in Maya (Maya is shit at rendering will look better in unity with my shaders and post processing applyed.
Im planing to build a full indoor living room scene that will be rendered and light mapped in unity.
#2:
Did not do much to day just finished the textures for the wall sections.
also started to build the scene in unity and did some light baking tests.
Tomorrow i might work on the Glass texture and sharer for the windows.
I want a custom shader to get the a effect im looking for that unity's shaders do not do.
After that will work on both the roof and ground textures.
#3:
Did not do a lot to day. I fixed up the light maps by creating custom light map uv's rather then getting unity to generate them.
In doing this i was able to cut the light map's down from 4 1024 maps to 1 1024 map which make the scene run a lot faster.
Also today i modeled and started to texture the door.
Tomorrow i hope i will get to texture up the rest of the door and Roof/ Floor,
also im hopping i will have time to model the Fire place.
