All the Star Wars in the news got me thinking this week, and of course its probably the most overdone nerd model ever. But I haven't made one yet. So here goes.

I started in on the high poly. Lots to do still. But I would like some crits as far as what to do with some things.

Should R2-D2 be a separate object in the final?

Do you think I should do the landing gear as well?

Whats a good budget for the low poly?

That's looking really good man. Some of those shapes look hard to do. And yes, R2-D2 should be separate I think for ease of modelling.

I won't take credit for all of the smaller details. I found a Greeble pack and mixed it with some kit bashing of my own. I plan on baking almost all of that detail into the low poly.
