[Dota2] – Queen Of Pain - Bounded By Chains

Hey guys im working this contest with another artist f0xtw0. We pump out some major changes that we wanted and then we thought that what if queen of pain lost one of her battle and was been punish. So this is some what the design we are going for but there are still changes to be made to fit into the poly limit hence this wont be the final design. Also as time is ticking hence our changes will be made in 3d instead. cheers ! our progress ~

The old concept that follows the 2d concept phase. For me it looks to simple and the silhoutte is not working.We worried to much about the poly limit so we did with too much constrain on ourselves. Hence i decided to make major changes within 3d means. This is the old model shot.




This is the new concept done directly in zbrush. Base on the story she was summon from the demon realm. So i thought she wouldn't look like what she is in game when she first reach the world. hence base on what i think i concept it more demonic armor set when she came into this world. of course the chains will be added later.



Any critiques and suggestions are welcome!

For the zbrush sculpt. It was split into 2 days. I'm still a student so after school i will work on it. probably 8hours into it?

Rly good work, but model havnt slot for chest. And i think u have troubles with animate ur chain on wrists.

hey thanks! Yea there is no slot for the body. so i'm thinking of putting it within the poly budget of the back which have 1.2k to play with. we are still thinking through how to incoporate the chains in. cause the poly budget is really tight now T__T

Remnants of the Scalopus

Akasha was was summon by the Ecclesiast-King of Elze who nursed a desire for pain. The following piece is done to recreate the image of Akasha when she just enter the realm. Where her only mission and desire is to set pain to the world.
