ArenaNet Environment Art Test

I'm getting close to finishing up the environment test for ArenaNet's internship program and figured I would post for some last minute feedback. It's too bad they took down the environment portion, though I think I'll be submitting it anyway (can't hurt, right?).

Anyways, I've got a few things left I plan to fix (bad tiling on stone foundation, cleaning up the normal map in places, and putting in a background).

I'm currently at 2979 triangles.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Looks nice and all, but I would be pretty hesitant to post a work in progress art test for critiques and guidance.

Why? You think only people in the industry can as for critiques?

Critiques are one thing, but when a test for employment is given, that test is being given to the individual to complete using their own skill-set. Subsequently, whats being tested...

If the test were submitted, and then the work posted for crits after the fact, that would be more appropriate, in my opinion.

If I were taking a test for a college course it wouldn't look too good for me to jab the person sitting next to me to get their opinion on a couple of answers I wasn't sure with. Make sense?

Perhaps the potential employer wouldn't even care? I'm just saying it's best to play it safe...

The test was public though loads of people posted them on here.

jon rush i don't believe art tests are like exams... if you learn something during an art test, your future employer will benefit from it... so , if someone improves by receiving critique, why not?!
