Side Scrolling Game

Hi everyone,
I'm starting to learn how to use Unrealscript in UDK.
Now, I've been following a page about a side scrolling game (with documentation from UDN). Here's the link: Click Here

Now I've been trying to implement this for my own game and everything works except for the fact that the player mesh doesn't show up.

As polycount is primarily a forum for artists, you may have better luck posting this on Epic's forum. They have a dedicated UnrealScript forum, and the community is usually very helpful.
