Texture organisation
Hi All,
I recall a thread about texture management a very long time ago but can't seem to find it in the search.
Does anyone know of any solutions for organizing textures?
Im looking at both software solutions for local organisation and web solutions to be able to access these anywhere. Ideally i would like to be able to do the following:
- access the textures via my website. Ideally mimicking this structure locally on my NAS to keep things organised.
- Be able to categorize the textures (think CG textures)
- Preserve the meta data and tagging for efficient searches. Ideally i could do this locally and it would be propogated to the web.
- Automatically provide varying resolutions. Highest being 8k and scaling from there down to 2k for example.
If anyone has any ideas on the subject i would love to hear them. I have searched all over the place and nothing quite hits the mark.
