[Dota2] - Anti-Mage - Spinning Blades

Okay, so after several failed armor set attempts I've settled with Anti-Mage.(set name is a placeholder)

Here's my progress with the concept so far both with and without the helmet (not sure about it):







The idea is to make an armor set that is sleek yet powerful. The colors are just for the concept and the thick black edges will be sharp blades on the edges of the armor.

I've only got the shoulders, bracers, and chest so far but i will make a complete set for him and a new weapon.

All comments and critiques are welcome and would be appreciated.

I will have the rest of the concept later today.

Here is the finished concept for the front view:



Colors are still place holder for the concept. It's hard to tell from my drawings, but the part of the bracers that cover the hand will be the same shape as the hole around the handle on the weapon.(so they will fit together)

I hope to have the other views or at least the colored version of the armor done later tonight.

Had to jump right into 3D, because I visualize things better that way.

So here's a quick update:

The unfinished high polys for the shoulders and the head (Also I think I've decided on the name - Punisher of Magic)





I'll probably tweak them some more before it's over so I'll post again when I have more. Moving on to the arms...

I got the bracers going in somewhat of a good direction and changed up the shoulders.

*Also thinking which name sounds better, I'm leading towards Arcane but any opinions would be appreciated.

Here's an update on my high polys for the shoulders and arms:



I had to rework them so the shapes flowed better with one another and anti-mage.

I'm probably gonna tweak the mask before it's over, but for now I'm gonna start the chest piece and I will post as soon as I can.

I'm not sure which design to go with and I'll probably end up tweaking it before it's over, but opinions are welcome.I'm planning on having a face on the back (stylized like the front of his original chest piece)

In the antimage lore there are some scrolls mentioned. Maybe you could use scrolls to keep the body armor together, would give it a lot of detail too. Dunno if it would look weird though or if you want some more detail on the armor itself. Kinda split on the 3 choices, I think all can work out great, but I favor B and C a bit more.

I've read his lore before and I completely forgot about the scrolls. I'm gonna try a few things and see if I can tie it into my set.
