I know how you can create falloff materials in UDk for use as a dynamic snow or moss shader. I would like to give the snow or moss some volume though by using tessellation, but my tests haven't been very successful. I would really like some tips. I also assume there are problems with UVW seams and tessellation in UDK, so what happens when the snow or moss goes over an uvw seam? Can those problems be solved?
Well, first off, whats wrong? What kinds of methods have you attempted yourself. Could you post some of the things you are trying to do or atleast try once and then post when it turns to shit .
