Carapace - Free perspective drawing utility from Epic Games

I wasn't sure where to put this thread so if this is wrong, please move it! But I figured since I wrote the app that it counts as pimping. Anyway...

Yeah, I took advantage of one of our Free Fridays here at Epic and wrote this utility that lets you lay down vanishing points and copy the resulting grid to the clipboard. You can then paste it into Photoshop and use it as a guide.

Hey everyone I have a question. what are the steps to download and install carapace into photoshop? When I download it I get a rar. file and i'm not sure what to do please help.

A RAR file is a compressed file format. You'll need something like WinRAR to unpack it.

Once you do, Carapace is an EXE that runs by itself. It's not a plugin for Photoshop.

I see that it’s been a while, but is any chance you have a way of making this same thing into an iOS app for Procreate users? Don’t bite my head off please.

Since you necro'd this thread, I had a poke around and it turns out I still have the source code.

I cleared it with Epic, so I'm going to package this up and just release the source to the internet.  That way someone with more talent than myself can port it to other platforms and what-not.    It'll take me a little time, but I AM working on it!
