Hi, i'm currently on my 3rd (And best attempt thus far) to learn modelling, started with Softimage a while back, failed, tried maya a while after that, also failed; Now i've moved on to 3ds Max and feel comfortable with the interface, can make basic shapes and such.
I want to learn to model to improve my level design (Source Engine), now I have learned the basics however I'm struggling to find suitable tutorials; Does anyone know of any good tutorials, something like a tutorial that covers some of the more advanced techniques (Experimented with creating objects straight from polygons and splines) to create a prop/weapon for a game, covering textures and importing into the game engine.
Thanks in advance, looks like a great community
(Repost from another area of the forum as I was told this was more active, can a mod delete my other thread?)

Both Eat3d and 3dmotive also offer excellent paid content, as do digital tutors.
